Spring is finally upon us! It's Spring Break for the next few days, so I thought I'd finally do an update. March was busy but fun. Lindsey was in the school play. She played a "fashionista" and did a fantastic job. The play is called "Welcome" and it's a musical that was written by the school's amazingly talented music teacher and the school choir's pianist. It was really great! Lindsey had a lot of fun, too. I will post a video of the song her group sang.
The weekend of March 17th Tim, Taylor, Ashlee and I all went to Youth Conference in Bryce Canyon. We stayed in a hotel and we swam (well, everyone but I did...), played games, did service projects, and took a much-longer-than-planned-on hike through Bryce Canyon. It was fantastic, and the kids had a blast. The ward was so great to let Tim and I go so that Taylor could attend. Pictures of that adventure coming as well.
Yesterday (April 3rd), Ashlee performed in her school talent show. She performed a song that she had written last summer. (She was extra nervous because of that.) It's an amazing song, though, and she did awesome! I will post the video of that as well.
We're looking forward to the next few days. We don't plan on going anywhere except maybe to Zion National Park for the day. Whether or not we go there will depend on whether Tim has to report to jury duty tomorrow or not. (Fun for him!) But whatever we do, it's just nice to have some time as a family. We especially look forward to the weekend with Easter egg hunts, the traditional chicken courdon bleu, and most importantly celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. For Him and His atonement we are forever grateful.

Christmas 2012
So, it was a month ago. Good memories have no time frame, right? Better now than never..
It was a wonderful Christmas, and we especially enjoyed the time we got to spend together as a family. We are so thankful for the true reason for Christmas, our Savior Jesus Christ.

Breanna's 8th Birthday
Lindsey's 10th Birthday
Birthdays
From November 17th to December 29th each year we have tons to celebrate. We start with Tim's Birthday, then Taylor's four days later, and Lindsey's five days after that, with Thanksgiving thrown in there somewhere. Then of course we enjoy Christmas, with Breanna's Birthday and our wedding anniversary on December 29th. After New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, we take a giant breath and perhaps enjoy the break until Ashlee's Birthday May 8th and and mine on May 31st. (I especially enjoy a break from the Birthdays when everyone turns an even number, because that means it's Birthday party year!) Here are some highlights from our November and December Birthday festivities.
I'm going to post this, then add pictures from Lindsey and Breanna's Birthdays.

Breanna's Baptism
Breanna was baptized last Saturday, January 7th. She had been so very excited for this day to come! She looked beautiful in her white dress that we borrowed from her cousin, Shaelynn, and her beautiful hair was done by Aunt Tami.
We got to spend a wonderful week with Grandma and Grandpa Roberts who came all the way from Nebraska for her special day. Grandma Langford came from Texas, too! Aunt Tami, Uncle Darren, Uncle Ken, and cousins Kaylie and Emma came from Lehi and Orem. Uncle Brad's other niece was baptized the same day, so he was up north for Cambry's baptism, but Aunt Kristine and the Anderson cousins were all at Breanna's baptism, too. (Except for the two who are serving missions, of course!) It was a wonderful program with Grandpa Roberts and Grandma Langford giving talks. There was also a musical number by Ashlee, Lindsey, and myself, with Aunt Kristine playing the piano and Shaelynn playing the flute.
We are very proud of Breanna for making this important decision to be baptized. She has followed the example of Jesus Christ and has made covenants to follow Him. Congratulations, Breanna! We love you!
