At the end of May, we all headed up north to BYU for the state Special Olympics. Taylor played on the soccer team. His "T-birds" team from Cedar City combined with the team from St. George so that they would have enough players for the state games. Together the team was called the "Pineview Panthers". They had never even practiced together as a team before, and they did great!! They (barely) lost their first game, won the next 3, and got to play for the gold! They lost that game, but got silver medals! It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Tim's sister Tami and her family and his brother Ken and his family came to some of the games as well as the opening ceremonies. Taylor had lots of awesome fans cheering him on!!
While in Lehi, we took the kids to the wonderful Legacy Center swimming pool. Taylor's friend and teammate, Joey, joined us, too. Here Taylor is squirting the girls and Joey while they wait for the giant bucket to dump water on them.
